Tomorrow is Valentines Day, fix husband bq baby back ribs for supper tonight. He bought me dinner Sunday night at Western Sizzlin one of my favorite places to eat. Sirlion tips with peppers and onions and a big baked potato. Gotta go House is on.

It started rainning again today. We seemed to having a lot of rain. I wish it would save some of the rain for this summer when its so hot. Doc, was outside this morning, he said smell, it smells like spring. not sure if I could smell spring, it sure is wet. We could still get some more ice and snow, hope not though.

The day is starting out foggy, supposed to be cooler. Yesterday was a beautiful day. I thought about getting out and going for a walk, I thought about it. The house was very warm, Miss Kitty and I were lazy, she slept and I watched tv.

See if I can't get the right year on my blog title. We got snow today, husband came and picked me up from work. Left my car at work, hope the wheels are still on in the morning. The main roads are slick, they said the interstate is really slick. I might get a snow day tommorrow, maybe not.

I survied another weekend attending a chiropractic seminar. I wish I could use that stuff for my mary kay business, I guess I could, I should try for the 5 year plan. The meetings are not bad, its the staff meeting we have when we get back, Doc wants to know what kind of notes we got and I am not good at taking notes. So I get stressed out, today was not too bad though. This guy Keith Maul is a good speaker, he travels all over the United States doing Chiropractic Seminar.
I have enjoyed my afternoon off, I made cookies and am baking a loaf of bread for toast. Have my chicken soaking in some salt water, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy for supper. I have some squash in the fridg, I will steam it or stir fry. Not sure.

They are getting ready to start messing things up. They are going to widen our road, they are taking it from our side. It is going to be so messy when it rains and stuff. There were will be a lot more traffic, I think I want to move.

Its raining again, I don't mind the rain most of the time, it sure messes up my sewer. Its annoying when you can't take a dump in your own home, you have to go else where. I guess I shouldn't complain, some people are getting water in their homes. They talk like we may have ice tomorrow. There should be something we can do about it though. My husband is bored, he can't get outside and do anything, so he decided to take a nap. The ground is soaked. They have about 2 inches of ice in Oklahoma.
I have cleaned and done some laundry. Clean sheets back on the bed, thinking about what I can have for supper. Even Miss Kitty is restless.
I think a trip to Wal-Mart is a good idea, get me out for a while. I still have to make those snacks I wanted to make. (Apricot-Walnut Cereal Bars)

Did not get much done yesterday, I need to do a lot today, have to go back to work tomorrow. I have so much stuff. I need a storeage building for my stuff. We have two, husband has them all full of his stuff.The back bedroom is still piled up and down the hall way. This room has little piles all over the place that I haven't decided what to do with. I have to go pay for the rest of the work I had done and talk about them paying for my dishwasher that tore up when they moved it out. It was working before, I have never had to deal with this problem before.
I counted all my loose change last night, I have $80.00 to take to OK next weekend. Better get off here I have stuff to do today.

We decided not to go to OK, wait till next weekend. Husband wanted to watch Razorbacks play today. I am going to make biscotti, have never made it before.

Wow! Another year gone by, what have I accomplished this past year, I don't really know. The year ended with me on vacation, getting some new flooring put in. I put this off for two years, because I have lived in this house for 35 years come April. I never throw anything away, I used to fuss at my mom, now I am just as bad as she was. Darn I wish she was still here, I still miss her. We had to though, we were tripping over the seams that were coming apart, some of it had waves. I still liked the carpet color, but refused to shampoo, since it was coming apart. We put down laminate flooring in the kitchen and dining room, I love it. I just hope we don't ruin it. We are so messy. I hate housework, but I love a clean house. I am going to do better this year, I swear.
Husband and Miss Kitty are playing chase, I have already chased her around the house this morning. She me woked up hitting the mini blinds in the living room, she thought it was time for us to get up. I was trying to sleep in, not with her around. I am usually up around 6:00 during the week when I work so she is use to that schedule, just because its a holiday, her clock doesn't change. I guess she is our baby now, that our kids have grown up. Sometimes I wish my girls were still little and the grandsons were still little, but then I wouldn't have great grandchildren.
Husband and I are thinking about going to Oklahoma to play slots today, sounds like fun, not sure I want to go though. I don't have much money saved up, I was saving up for Nashville, not that I need that much money, just for my food and drinks. The room will be free, I am so excited.
Back to these accomplishments for 06, I am still working and hope to keep working atleast till pay off my flooring. We took out a personal loan to get the flooring, it will take two years to pay it off. We don't have a lot of bills, I have credit cards, I have one I let get out of control, not sure how that happened, so I am working on that. Husband does not like credit cards, his motto is if you can't pay for it you don't need it. I think he is right, but I have no self control, yes I do, I have stopped charging on that card.
Better go, we are going to Oklahoma! I hope to win some money.

We had a nice day. The weather was cool, but the sun was shining. I think it was 51 at noon.
our new floors are just about done. The wood flooring looks really good. Tomorrow they install the carpet. Then it will be done for a while.

Five more days left of 06, I haven't accomplished much this past year. Just work, Work and more work. I am going to try and be a better person this year, try and make my job a little more interesting, listen better, call my grandkids more and visit with my sister and brothers more. My three older grandsons I don't see very much, they are busy with school and work, familes and stuff. Get my stuff ready for Nashville in June, I am so excited this year. Last year I almost didn't go, I got a sore foot, but I am so glad I went. Going with my oldest daughter, her boys are all grown up, two are still at home, but they can take care of themselves. My youngest, don't think she likes country music enough to want to go. Maybe in a couple of years I will take my granddaughter with me if we go back in o8 or 09. There is something to see everywhere, country music all day and most of the night, if you like clubs. I am not much on clubs, don't like the smoke and don't drink, they just smell to me. I am sure glad Arkansas has the clean air act. Its makes going out to dinne a lot nicer. Sorry for all the smokers out there but that is the way I feel. Lung cancer killed my mom, I watched her wither away from that stuff, she said, smoked since she was 14 years old. Back then it was the in thing to do. I am surprised that I never took up the habit, both parents were heavy smokers.
We got most of the furniture moved out yesterday, husband slept on the sofa in the living room, granddaughter slept in the bed we left. The new flooring will be started tomorrow, I am excited about getting it. Maybe this will help me get rid of some stuff. I use to give my mom a hard time about saving things, I am just as bad. She said, " guess it was because she grew up in the depression era, back then you didn't throw things away, they might be useful later so you saved it". I am not sure what my excuse is. Granddaughter was helping move things into boxes and found some of my old record albums and asked what are these. I forot I even had them, I am not going to get rid of them, I will keep them a little bit longer. I am going to dust the base boards and wipe the walls, If I had more time, I would paint, did get the living room painted, not finished but I will get to it. Husband said, You won't ever finish, because you never finish anything, just because I started wall papering the hall and stopped does't mean I never finish anything. I think I am going to take the paper down and paint it too. He can just kiss my rear.
Better go and dust those base boards I was talking about.

I have a cold, upper respitory stuff, nose, sore throat makes me cough. My head feels huge. Its Christmas, not supposed to be sick on Christmas, but I got all the presents wrapped and the food cooked. Granddaughter came and helped me out. She is only 10, but she likes to help me cook. Her favorite part is making the rolls, she likes to knead the bread and stuff. Husband called her cheff.

Another sleepless night. I was sleepy this afternoon at work, but not now. I have got to wrap the rest of the presents, I am not really in the mood for christmas this year. Two presents are wrapped and my granddaughter did those. I will get some done tomorrow evening and put them under the tree.
I mixed up some deer summer sausage, I have to bake it tomorrow night, this is the first attempt I hope it is good. You have to bake it for 8-10 hours at 150 degrees. Surely it will taste good. I wish I had a sausage stuffer on my mixer. I guess I will wrap this in plastic wrap.

Today is my first grandson's birthday. He is a dad twice now, I wish he was still that cute little boy that always called on Friday night to spend the night. My second grandson will be 21 the 14th of December. They are sure growing up. They get older and don't need grandma much anymore, I sure do miss that.
I got my tree up today and my youngest grandchildren came over to help me decorate it. I get tired of putting it up and taking it down. We are getting new flooring put in on the 27th, so I will have to take it down the day after Christmas. I am excited about the flooring, we haven't done any in about 15 years. It will be like moving, I have so much stuff I have to pack up.
I baked a cake today, called Banana Split Cake, it sure sounded good, has to be with all the good stuff, pineapple, bananas, cherries, coconut and pecans. Cream cheese frosting. Yum and here I am a diebetic but I am going to have some anyway.

Very cold this morning, went from 70 degrees last Thursday, to 27 this Thursday. We have been averaging 50 to 60 degress for November. I still had a few plants blooming. I bet they are gone now.

I just read about my daughters dreams, I do not dream like that. I can't remember dreams, not like that.
We are supposed to get some snow, I went out today and took pictures of my clemitis that is blooming and the rose bush that is still blooming. They may be covered with ice this time tomorrow. Its bed time.

We are so slow at work today, I did not have to go in. Went in yesterday and got sent home. We had two patients on the book for that morning, the same for today. I am going to help set up the booth for the pope county fair this afternoon. I have not gone to the fair in years. Well, I did go last fall to see a patients roses he entered in the fair. I looked at the exhibits and left.The girls have grown up I don't have to go anymore.
The weather is so nice, we got 1 1/2 inches of rain yesterday that we needed so badly.

It is cold outside this morning, 58 degrees. Iwas hoping for cooler weather. I like fall and spring. It always get so hot around here in the summer time, hot and dry. Our tomato plants burned up this year. We watered some, but it didn't seemed to help.
